Senior Account Manager


This position includes commission opportunities in addition to hourly pay. Commission rates and terms will be discussed during the interview. Candidate must be available Monday-Friday during Agency hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the hourly schedule determined at hire.

Our Account Managers must have exceptional client relations skills, with an emphasis on both professional verbal and written communications. You will facilitate client touch-point meetings, draft emails that notify and update clients on any of their current service requests and advise on account management needs. The importance of using thoughtful, respectful tone, excellent grammar and insightful prose can not be pressed enough for all our lines of communication.

  • Minimum 4-5 years project management experience with a preference of at least 2 years of agency experience.

  • Seeking a candidate with a background in marketing and communications with an emphasis on digital marketing. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications, workflow ticketing systems, and marketing budgets a plus.

We’re seeking someone with a proven track record of project management capabilities. You will be responsible for managing ongoing client service requests and tracking labor and deliverables in our ticketing system as well as maintaining our agency production schedule. In short, organization, administrative workflows and the creation and completion of ongoing task lists will be daily activities.

This role will also work directly with our Support Teams, Independent Contractors and Vendor Partners. An understanding of contract labor dynamics and service level agreements is a must. At Bad Penny Factory, our leading services include content generation (copy development), paid digital ads creation and management, search engine marketing and optimization, and website design and support. It is critical that you have a solid understanding of these service lines in order to offer the best support for our clients.

In addition to understanding our service lines, it is important that the right candidate is independently proficient at one of our lines of service. On occasion, there will be times when added production support will be needed so it will be expected that you can jump in to help extend temporary bandwidth when needs arise. So, you’ll either need to be a writer, adept at paid ads management for platforms like Google, Bing, Facebook and others, be able to execute SEO tasks or perform basic website updates on WordPress. Work examples will need to be provided.

Independent Contractors


We are currently accepting contractors for both graphic design and content generation. Hours will depend on project needs with options for future employment. Please submit a sampling of your work along with references. Include your current rate sheet for consideration.

  • Graphic Designers: Requesting 2-3 years of agency-related experience with capabilities in both print and digital design.

  • Content Writers: Seeking writers with 2-3 years of experience writing for the web with an understanding of search engine marketing, meta data and keywords implementation. Content needs include drafting of SEO posts, web page copy, press releases and more.

Wordpress Website Developer


We are growing our Tech Team and are seeking an experienced developer, specializing in WordPress. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. In addition to design/build projects, this position will also work directly with our Website Support Team in a supervisory capacity. At Bad Penny Factory, we are a marketing agency first, so all our websites are created with end marketing in mind – ensuring all sites are designed and built with a strong emphasis on paid media integrations and search engine marketing.

  • Minimum 3-4 years experience with a preference of at least 2 years of agency experience.

  • Seeking a candidate that specializes in WordPress development with capabilities in other web technologies and platforms such as Spotify and Squarespace.

All new hires will be subject to 30 and 90-day reviews to determine continued employment status. Agency 401k contributions become available after 12 full months of employment. As of 2020, all employee positions are 100% remote with in-person meetings currently TBD.
